Moon Phases

Today we learnt about phases of the moon.
Then we researched the maori kupu.
We are learning this because matariki is coming up.
I learnt that there is seven main phases.
My favorite moon phase is the full moon.
It is my favorite because it shines bright at night.

  1. Kia ora Alexa, I like the full moon, Oturu, too. Sometimes it can look so huge and bright in the sky, like you could just reach out and touch it. I like the artwork you've added to your blog because I don't know all of the phases of the moon in Te Reo. I look forward to reading your posts about Matariki. Tino pai! Elizabeth K

  2. Kia ora Alexa, this is a really interesting subject for me, especially because we are coming up to Matariki and it is a great diagram about the moon phases which helped me a lot. I think I like Whiro - when it is the new moon I think you can see the other stars better. I learnt a lot looking at your work - thank you for sharing.

  3. Ataahua Alex, I agree with Helen, I like Whiro the best because it brings change with the new moon. I am looking forward to reading more about the phases of the moon. Next time could you do a Screencastify to explain your poster. Perhaps a more 'catchy' title to attract more readers. Tino pai. Keep blogging and sharing.
