A Day In Town

 A day in town.

Yesterday Rāwhiti School went to town.

Our class split into two teams the teams were the yr7s and the yr8s. The yr7s went to Margaret Mahy Park, And the yr8s went to Victoria Square.

At Victoria square there were ten tasks,

Each task was slightly different. At Victoria Park we learnt about the Weeping Willows, Captain Cook, Queen Victoria, Pou, and tiles. The Weeping Willows came from the French Napoleon’s grave.

After a while we had lunch, then we headed to the town hall to watch the show.

The show was about the Māori creation story, During the show there were people climbing ropes and swinging on the hula hoops and silk.

These were some of the activities we did.

Statistics imersion

 For the past couple weeks we have been learning about statistics imersion and graphs.

This is my graph of the school lunches.Because of the school lunches we had to give feed back to the people making the lunches.

Maths

 Today durning maths we had to work on this chart for a game we played.My chart is about that game its the snake game.

Digital Art

 This is my draft of what i am working on here is a photo of the digital art,Those are my friends Aliana and Serenity they didn't help me with this picture.I chose to make this a draft because i wanted to draw it my by hand. I like the colours on this draft and I like how it turned out.

Gymnastics

 Gymnastics, At gymasnitcs we had to climb ropes and balance on the beams.And we did roley polleys and we had to jump on the trampolines. First we had to leave school and walk down there and when we got there we had to sit outside and wait for the instructor. After they lead us to the floor where we all had to sit on the white square, They made us take of our socks, Necklaces etc...

We lined up and had our waarm up, After that the first thing we did was climbing and swinging on the ropes. then we did the beams and then the bars after the bars we had the trampoline on the trampoline it was time for Maia f to have a turn she jumped in the air and landed in the foam pit spraining her ankle. Then we had the last one the rolley polleys.Then we had to pack up and head back Maia f and I got a ride in the van because Maia was ingured and I was her friend.

 Leave the door open no that's all she wrote and because I don’t have my drivers licence I can’t go see her, She keeps calling my phone it’s really annoying, “Anyone want to go for a walk down the streets?”

“Yes but Hold on I have to get my pet Firefly”

“ Ok but hurry because I don’t want to go without you.”

BANG “What was that?” “I don’t know, maybe that memory will fade away?”

“We have arrived at the business.” “is that person levitating?” “No you're just having a daydream.”

“Oh ok”  “yeah oh wait I forgot there was going to be heat waves today”

“Lucky its up in the air” “oh these good days” 

                                    Fitness

Today for fitness we had the tyres.

Each of us had to roll, Flip and run with the tyres.

First we got in groups of three and ran around the track. Once we were done Aliana, Maia and I got into a group of seven so there were ten of us in that group.

After that we headed towards the confidence course.

Hhoice and Challenge

This year we have been doing Choice and Challenge.

Choice and Challenge is the seniors helping the junior kids every Friday.

The big kids run activities for the junior kids. They choose the activities they want and they do it.

Sometimes the activities are full.

That's good that means it is popular and the kids like it. Maia, Miriam, Aliana and I run the bike track.
